Itinerary

Day 1: WELCOME TO BARCELONA

After you arrive at Barcelona-El Prat Airport, you’ll be met and transferred to the hotel in one of our vehicles.

The rest of the day will be for relaxation, allowing us to begin enjoying this marvelous city at our own pace.

Barcelona is a city brimming with attractions that invite repeated visits. Open to the Mediterranean Sea and renowned for Gaudí and his modernist architecture, Barcelona stands out as one of Europe’s trendiest capitals.

The city is a hub of new trends in the realms of culture, fashion, and gastronomy. It seamlessly blends the creativity of its artists and designers with respect and care for its traditional local treasures. Here, the charm and tranquility of its historic center coexist with the avant-garde essence of its modern neighborhoods and the urban rhythm of one of the most visited cities in the world.

Day 2: FULL DAY IN BARCELONA

After a hearty breakfast, you will explore Barcelona with a sightseeing bus tour. There are two different routes with various stops.

The West Route (orange) allows us to discover the city beyond its iconic modernist buildings. The itinerary covers an extensive circuit that takes us to all the landmarks on the western edge of the city, such as Camp Nou or the National Art Museum of Catalonia. You can visit either of the two museums and hop back on the bus when we’ve finished the visit.

The East Route (green) takes us through the most artistic part of the city. You’ll capture the network of modernist buildings, from Plaza Cataluña to Park Güell, admiring the most impressive landmarks of this part of the city, including the Sagrada Familia. You’ll learn about the city’s history and uncover all the secrets it holds.

Day 3: EXPLORING BARCELONA

Once you finish the tasty breakfast, the day is free at your leisure.

Barcelona, the vibrant capital of Catalonia, is a city known for its stunning architecture, lively culture, and beautiful Mediterranean beaches. It is home to iconic landmarks like the Sagrada Familia and Park Güell, designed by renowned architect Antoni Gaudí. The city offers a rich blend of Gothic and modernist architecture, bustling markets, and a thriving food scene.

The Sagrada Familia is famous for its intricate and impressive design, featuring a unique blend of Gothic and modernist styles. Its soaring towers and facades are adorned with detailed sculptures and biblical scenes, making it a visual masterpiece.

Inside, the basilica is filled with light filtering through stained glass windows, creating an impressive kaleidoscope of colors. The columns within the church resemble a forest, and the ceiling appears to rise like an intricate canopy.

This iconic landmark is not just a church; it’s a testament to the architectural genius and a symbol of Barcelona itself. Its ongoing construction and evolving design continue to captivate visitors from around the world

Barcelona is also famous for its football team, FC Barcelona, and the energetic atmosphere at Camp Nou stadium. With its mild climate and outdoor cafés, Barcelona invites you to explore its charming streets, enjoy the vibrant nightlife, and indulge in delicious tapas.

Day 4:FROM BARCELONA TO VALENCIA BY TRAIN

After breakfast, you will transfer yourself to the Barcelona train station to board a high-speed train to Valencia. Upon arrival, you’ll reach your hotel in Valencia. The rest of the day will be free to start enjoying the city.

Valencia, located on the eastern coast of Spain, is a captivating city renowned for its mix of modern architecture and historical landmarks. The futuristic City of Arts and Sciences is a must-see, featuring stunning structures like the Hemisfèric and Oceanogràfic.

The historic center boasts the impressive Valencia Cathedral, home to the Holy Grail, and the bustling Mercado Central. Valencia’s beaches, including Malvarrosa and Las Arenas, offer sun-soaked relaxation. The annual Fallas festival, known for its elaborate sculptures and fireworks, draws crowds from around the world.

Day 5:DISCOVERING VALENCIA

After a delightful breakfast, you will explore Valencia aboard the double-decker hop-on-hop-off tourist bus, with the advantage of being able to get on and off as many times as you want.

This way, you will discover the city’s most important attractions, such as the City of Arts and Sciences. You can explore this unique architectural complex, which includes a planetarium, an aquarium, and a science museum.

Among other significant attractions, you’ll find the Quart TowersIVAM (Valencian Institute of Modern Art), Serranos Towers, San Pío V (Fine Arts Museum), Iberian Lady, Bioparc, or the History Museum of Valencia.

At noon, the port stop will allow us to savor a delicious paella, made with the tastiest and freshest local products.

You’ll board the bus again and continue exploring the stops that interest you the most. You can choose to visit the Silk Exchange, and the Valencia Cathedral, among others.

Thanks to the audio guide system, available in English and 9 other languages, we’ll learn all the details and stories of Valencia, the City of Flowers. This nickname arose from the abundance of flowers and gardens throughout the city, adding color and beauty to its streets and squares.

To end the day of exploration, you can have dinner in the charming Carmen neighborhood, known for its narrow streets and bohemian atmosphere.

Your ticket is valid for the whole day, so we’ll make the most of it by visiting the best points of interest and attractions.

Day 6:FROM VALENCIA TO MADRID BY TRAIN

In the morning, after enjoying our breakfast, we will go by ourselves to Valencia’s train station to board our high-speed train to Madrid.

Upon arrival in Spain’s capital city, we will get on our own to the hotel. We will have the rest of the day free.

Madrid is a dynamic metropolis that seamlessly blends history and modernity. It showcases stunning architecture, including the Royal Palace and Plaza Mayor, while also embracing contemporary landmarks like the Gran Vía. The city’s art scene is world-renowned, with the Prado Museum housing masterpieces by artists such as Velázquez and Goya.

Madrid is known for its vibrant nightlife, with lively bars and clubs in areas like Malasaña and Chueca. Food enthusiasts will delight in the city’s tapas culture and traditional markets like Mercado de San Miguel. From its charming neighborhoods to its bustling city center, Madrid offers a captivating experience for visitors.

Day 7: KNOWING MADRID

After breakfast, we will explore Madrid with a sightseeing bus tour. Two routes cover all the city’s highlights, from historical sites and monuments to modern Madrid with skyscrapers and cosmopolitan architecture.

With a single ticket, you’ll have the flexibility to hop on and off the buses or switch between routes throughout the day, allowing us to admire Madrid’s architectural and cultural grandeur.

This experience includes two different routes. The first one lasts approximately 80 minutes and takes us to explore the most prominent historical sites of Madrid, such as the Prado Museum, Puerta de Alcalá, Plaza de Cibeles, Plaza de España, and much more. The second route lasts about 65 minutes and showcases the more modern part of the Spanish capital, including the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium and Colón Square, among others.

Day 8:GOODBYE MADRID! WELCOME TO MARRAKECH!

You will enjoy your breakfast and, at the indicated time, you will be transferred to Madrid-Barajas International Airport to board your next flight.

Upon arrival at the Marrakech airport, you will be greeted by an English-speaking assistant to provide you with all the necessary information for your stay in the city and accompany you in the transfer to the hotel in one of our private vehicles and help you with registration. The rest of the day will be to relax and enjoy the city at your own pace.

Marrakech is one of the most important cities in Morocco and one of the four imperial cities along with Meknes, Fez and Rabat. Founded in 1062, it was one of the country’s capitals and has the largest traditional market in the region and one of the busiest squares on the continent and in the world.

Day 9:MARRAKECH – ESSAOUIRA – CASABLANCA

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked up to start the journey to Essaouira, formerly called Mogador, it was an important fishing port, which would later be known as the capital of the hippies.

This relaxed and peaceful Moroccan town located in the west of Morocco and bathed by the Atlantic is the perfect place to disconnect and rest from the hustle and bustle that characterizes big cities.

In the Berber language, Essaouira means “wall” and travelers from all over the world do not miss the opportunity to explore this beautiful city with French, Portuguese, and Berber architecture, its special climate, and its delicious fresh seafood.

You will start the trip through the attractive Moroccan valleys bathed by orange groves, olive groves, and farms.

After you arrive in Essaouira, you will be surprised by the contrast of its medina bordered by walls and occupied by bazaars that are easy to navigate along the sea coasts. Its amazing beaches are the ideal place for surfing and visiting the port is almost the same as traveling back in time.

You will have free time to enjoy the local gastronomy (optional) and then continue your route along the Moroccan coast to Casablanca, first passing through Mazagan, a city of the Portuguese colony between the 16th and 18th centuries that was later abandoned and taken over by Sultan Muhamed III and renamed as “El-Jadida“.

There you will visit the citadel with its huge carved stone walls and if possible you will go down to the Cistern.

At the end of the visit, you will return to the road to Casablanca, where upon arrival you will register at the hotel where you will have dinner and stay.

Day 10:CASABLANCA – MEKNES – FEZ

After a tasty breakfast, we will visit Casablanca, starting with the Boulevard of the Corniche, the seafront promenade, and the coastal road, through which we’ll reach Anfa (old quarters of the historic city), a famous neighborhood in which its luxurious houses stand out.

The tour will lead to the exterior of the Great Mosque of Hassan II, a monumental and modern work (sliding roof and resistance to earthquakes) that holds the title of the third largest mosque in the world after Mecca and Medina (optionally, you can visit the inside). It is the most representative monument of the 20th century.

We will depart from Casablanca through the road and fertile valleys until we reach Meknes, a World Heritage Site and one of the four imperial cities along with Marrakesh, Fez, and Rabat, the former capital of Morocco.

You will visit the fortified city starting with its walls and great gates: Bab El Mansour Laalej, the largest gate in the country and North Africa; the Agdal pond, built for irrigation in the area; and the Lahdim Square, the epicenter of the city’s activity. Then you will have free time for lunch (optional).

Finally, we will arrive in Fez, where we will have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 11:FEZ

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, we will start our journey with a visit to Fez Royal Palace with its magnificent golden doors. These seven bronze doors, each of different sizes, represent the seven days of the week and the seven levels of the monarchy.

Next, we will explore the Medina, also known as the Old Quarter. Here, we’ll have the opportunity to visit the Madrasa Bou Inania, which is an Islamic school. We’ll also see the Nejjarine Fountain, one of the most beautiful fountains in the medina and the oldest in Fez.

Additionally, we’ll visit the Al-Karaouine Mosque, a significant cultural center of Islam, housing a library with over 30,000 copies. This mosque is also the headquarters of the University of Fez. Lastly, we’ll visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss, the most revered saint in Morocco.

During our journey, we’ll make a stop in the famous neighborhood of the Tanners, which is truly unique in the world.

Later, there will be an optional lunch opportunity. In the afternoon, we will continue our exploration of Fez, visiting its beautiful artisan neighborhoods that are divided by guilds.

Finally, we will return to our hotel to relax and unwind.

Day 12:FEZ – RABAT – MARRAKECH

After a tasty breakfast at the hotel, we will go to the imperial city of Rabat, the capital of the kingdom and the second most populous city in Morocco. The visit will begin with the Royal Palace of Rabat and the seat of government, Dar-el-Makhzen, where more than two thousand people reside.

Later we will visit the Kasbah of the Oudaya, a fortified space of Berber origin dating back to the 12th century, a World Heritage Site. You will continue through the Mausoleum of Mohamed V (10 years of work and the collaboration of more than 400 artists), the unfinished Mosque and the Hassan Tower, and monuments of the Berber dynasty of the 12th century.

At the end of the visit, we will have free time for lunch (optional) and then continue the route to Marrakech, where we will have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 13: MARRAKECH

After a delicious breakfast, we will begin your visit to the city of Marrakech, the magical red city.

Our visit will begin with the Menara Gardens, on the outskirts of the city. These gardens with a 14-hectare park in the center of which is an immense 12th-century pond. Later you will go to the city center to see the majestic Koutoubia minaret, the twin tower of the Giralda in Seville. You will also visit the Bahia Palace, built in the 19th century.

We will have lunch in the hotel and, later, you will continue the tour in a magical place: the Yemaa el Fna Square, declared a World Heritage Site.

In the morning, you will find sellers of orange juice and other fruit, wicker baskets, souvenirs, sweets, jewelry, dentists, healers, and commissioned writers. This universe becomes particularly fascinating at nightfall when the square is lit up with a thousand lights.

We will have free time on the afternoon and we will retourn to our hotel for accommodation.

Day 14:MARRAKECH FREE DAY

After a fabulous breakfast, you will enjoy a day off with half board at the hotel. You can walk at your own pace and enjoy the magic that the city of Marrakech offers you.

You can also choose one of the optional excursions as the tour to the Ourika Valley, a fertile area, with small villages of adobe houses hanging from the slopes of the mountain, or the visit to the Majorelle Garden, a beautiful garden designed by the Frenchman Jacques Majorelle in 1924.

Day 15: GOODBYE MARRAKECH!

After an exquisite breakfast and at the agreed time, we will be transferred to the Airport of Marrakech.
