8-Day Atens, Paros & Naxsos

Day 1: ATHENS – CRADLE OF CIVILIZATION

Upon your arrival in the mythical city of Athens, you will be greeted with a seamless transfer to your hotel in one of our vehicles, where your professional and friendly English-speaking driver will ensure your comfort and convenience throughout the journey.

Later in the afternoon, at an agreed time, our representative will meet you at the hotel to provide all the essential details of your trip. They will also offer a captivating presentation of the city, sharing insights into its everyday way of life. This is an excellent opportunity for you to ask any questions and have any doubts dispelled, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience throughout the rest of your trip.

You will have the remainder of the day free to relax and explore Athens at your own pace, taking in the sights, sounds, and flavors of this remarkable city.

In the evening you will join our walking tour, where you will see Athens from a different perspective and have the chance to familiarize yourself with the most charming neighborhoods, such as Anafiotika, Thiseio, Monastiraki, and Plaka.

Day 2: ATHENS SIGHTSEEING WITH ACROPOLIS, TEMPLE OF ZEUS & TRILOGY

Start your day with a delicious breakfast. Then, we’ll embark on our panoramic tour of the Athenian Neoclassical Center.

We’ll visit iconic landmarks. Some are the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Hadrian’s Gate, and Panathenaic Stadium. Our knowledgeable English-speaking guide will provide fascinating insights into their history and significance. We’ll also experience the breathtaking Acropolis and Acropolis Museum. The tour includes entrance fees.

Afterward, you can return to your hotel or explore the charming streets of Plaka at your own pace.

In the evening, join us on a walking tour through Anafiotika, Thissio, Monastiraki, and Plaka. We’ll witness the capital’s true beauty during the night.

Day 3: FROM ATHENS TO PAROS, SAILING THE AEGEAN LIKE ULYSSES

Early in the morning, one of our vehicles will be waiting for you with your assistant to transfer you to the port of Piraeus, where you will board the ferry to Paros.

This Cycladic island is a visitors mecca for natives and foreigners alike and is the ideal destination to relax and enjoy its beaches, numerous small churches, and picturesque villages.

Upon your arrival in Paroikia, the island´s capital, one of our representatives will meet you to transfer you to your accommodation.

The rest of the day is free for you to relax and enjoy this wonderful island.

Day 4: FREE DAY IN PAROS – CRYSTAL CLEAR TURQUOISE WATERS

Paros, derived from the Greek word for “beach,” lives up to its name with its breathtaking coastline. Renowned in ancient times for its white marble and revered today for its stunning beaches, Paros is a destination that captivates the senses and exceeds the expectations of even the most discerning travelers.

In proximity to Paroikia, the island’s capital, lies the remnants of an ancient wall and an Ionian temple dedicated to Asclepius, the god of healing, dating back to the 6th century BC. During this era, priests prescribed cures based on patients’ dreams, often involving therapeutic baths, mud treatments, and physical activities.

This day on the island is yours to freely unwind, explore at your leisure, and immerse yourself in the rich Cycladic culture, if only for a few days.

Day 5: FROM PAROS TO NAXOS, THE ADVENTURE CONTINUES

Early in the morning, one of our private vehicles will be waiting for you to transfer you to the port where you will board the ferry to the island of Naxos.

Upon our arrival on the island, one of our representatives will be waiting for you to transfer you to our hotel.

The rest of the day will be free to start enjoying and living the relaxed life that the friendly islanders already enjoy. We recommend taking the day tour to Chora, the island’s capital, and watching the sunset in the spectacular Portara, which was the gateway to the temple of Apollo.

Day 6: ENJOYING NAXOS, THE LARGEST OF THE CYCLADES

After an exquisite breakfast, you will have a free day to explore the largest island of the Cyclades at your own pace. We recommend using this day to visit the Ancient temple dedicated to Dimitra, sister of Zeus, goddess of wheat and agriculture, and protector of the cycle of the seasons.

This temple is located in the middle of the island’s cultivated fields. You can also visit the town of Vivlos, famous for its three windmills, or Filoti, a very interesting and picturesque little village. If you prefer to walk by the beach, you can do so due to their large number and variety, while you would not even have to go far from the town itself. Among others, we suggest that you visit Pyrgaki, Aliko, Hawaii Beach, or Plaka.

Day 7: FROM NAXOS TO PIRAEUS PORT – THE RETURN

At the agreed time, we will transfer you to the new port of Naxos, where you will board the ferry back to Athens.

In the evening, upon your arrival at Piraeus, you will be transferred to your hotel, for a good rest and a rejuvenating sleep that will prepare you for the next day, full of more wonderful experiences and impressions.

Day 8: FAREWELL GREECE!

At the appointed time, one of our drivers will transfer you to Athens International Airport, where you will check in your luggage and benefit from the tax return resulting from your last-minute “tax-free” shopping for family and friends.
